The Holiday Whoville Extravaganza is Coming to Town

By REBECCA BISKADUROS

Fall is in the air and a wondrous array of scarecrows have descended upon this quaint village.  With the new season comes exciting happenings over at the local Cambria Chamber of Commerce.  The Chamber is thrilled to bring some special events to town, starting with the Holidays in Cambria Village.

The Holiday Whoville Extravaganza will be a fun open house to encourage all to shop at the many East and West Village businesses and enjoy many new festivities.  The event will begin on Friday, December 6, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and continue on Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  There will be a live Mr. Grinch strolling through town, free hot dogs in front of the Chamber Visitor Center, festive holiday music, exciting dance flash mobs to entertain, a special new Gingerbread House Competition, and much more.

The Historical Society will be celebrating its annual tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on December 6, with new family friendly fun.  Do not miss out on this new holiday event! The trolley will be shuttling locals and guests throughout the East and West Villages.
