Squibb Houses Presents…An Evening of Readings and a Special Classic Movie

For one night only, on Saturday, December 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., The Squibb Houses, in conjunction with the Squibb House Players, will be presenting the second annual reading of A Christmas Carole (abridged version) by Charles Dickens. The event will be held in the gazebo behind the Squibb Houses at 4063 Burton Drive.

     Following the reading, Bruce Black, owner of the Squibb Houses, will be doing a special recitation of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas.  After Bruce’s presentation the 1936 MGM classic film, A Christmas Carole will be screened.

     Refreshments of mulled wine, chestnuts, and other English-themed finger foods will be served and are included in the ticket price.  Tickets are $20 per person and reservations are required due to limited seating.  Call Tiffany Fernandez at (805) 927-9600 to reserve a seat at this special holiday celebration.

     Proceeds from the event will be denoted to HART.  Donations in the past have helped to support the Cambria Historical Society and the Coast Union Athletic Department.  The event is entirely staffed by volunteers.  Come join the fun at this beautiful seasonal event and help support the work HART does in our community.
