Spring Is Just Around the Corner for Cambria Community Chorale

By LEONARD KOHOUT

The Cambria Community Chorale is riding high after an extraordinary winter concert series—and it is all thanks to you, Cambria.  We are now turning that excitement toward spring, with rehearsals in full swing at the Joslyn Center under the direction of Ron Perry.  The Chorale is embracing a vibrant and wide-ranging program designed to inspire and entertain.

The May concerts will be held on Sunday, May 10, and Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m. for both performances.  They will be a musical celebration that you will not want to miss.  Expect a stirring patriotic selection, a tuneful journey across America.  Singers have been eagerly rehearsing powerful spirituals and  lush choral harmonies.  The featured medley for Spring is Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” medley.  From heartfelt ballads to toe-tapping moments, this concert promises something for everyone.

Both performances will take place at our concert home, the Community Presbyterian Church of Cambria, 2250 Yorkshire Drive.  Treat Mom to an afternoon of beautiful music.  Bring a friend  and invite your neighbors to celebrate spring with us.  May will be here before we know it—and we cannot wait to fill the house again.  Join us and be part of the excitement!

Watch for our flyers and banners and other reminders of our upcoming events.  Tickets to our performances will be available soon.  Tickets will be available at the Chamber of Commerce, from a Chorale Member, online at our website at Cambriachorale.org and at: My805Tix

Last of all, we would like to thank everyone at Cambriaca.org for always being there for us and for all of the Cambria Community.  Thanks to the founder of the cambriaca, John Rohrbaugh, who we all miss so much.  John was a member of the Chorale for several years.  We also wish to thank Kris Fox who kept John’s dream project going after his passing.  We are so grateful to you, Kris, and to everyone at the cambriaca who have kept the community informed.  We will miss you.
