Scenes from Cambria

By STAFF

On Sunday, February 21, several locals and visitors walked the Fiscalini Ranch to learn about everything from seasonal ocean currents, and flora and fauna on the ranch to the early history of seaweed and abalone harvesting in the area. The group also viewed one of the first native homes bult on what is now the ranch preserve.  The docent for this excursion was Gil Eastman and visitors from Washington and New York States, as well as Massachusetts, and New Hampshire attended.

On Friday, February 28 members of the community had a peaceful protest at the corner of Main Street and Cambria Drive.
