A pop-up craft sale will be held on Saturday, November 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 345 Warwick Street. Sponsored by a group of local artisans led by Dianne Brooke, also known as Lady Tie Di, they will be selling items made in the genres of fiber arts, jewelry, glass, wood, paper arts, and metal.
Lady Tie Di has been a Cambria resident for over 43 years and has been an artist even longer. She got her moniker while she was a disc jockey at the late great K-Otter radio. She also wrote for The Cambrian newspaper under the same name for 20 years. She has always surrounded herself with other interesting artists and makers of all sorts.
A number of years ago, she and her friends decided they had been too busy making things and were running out of room for more art supplies. So, they had a sale. It was so much fun that they decided to do it again and have every year since.
There is guaranteed to be something for everybody and in every price range. Something to keep, something to give to kids, to give to friends…to make you smile. Everyone is welcome to come by and find new treasures to keep or give away.
