Meet Aspen and Tabitha, HART’s February Cats of the Month

By DAWN ELLNER

Meet Aspen and Tabitha, Homeless Animal Rescue Team’s February Cats of the Month!  These two gorgeous kittens have formed an unbreakable bond and are looking for a forever home together.

Aspen is a striking tuxie tabby with enchanting green-gold eyes and the cutest white socks. Once a tiny motherless wildling, she was very sick when she arrived at HART.  Her early experiences with humans meant medicine and needles, making her even more wary of humans. But with time, love, and patience, Aspen is learning that people can be kind, especially when they come with Churu treats!  She is curious, playful, and finds comfort in the company of other cats—especially her best friend, Tabitha.  Deep down, she wants to love human affection, but she is still just too afraid.  With a safe and secure home life, she could truly come out of her shell and learn to trust, knowing she is finally where she belongs.

Tabitha is a fluffy torbie beauty with a stunning mix of tabby stripes and tortie spots.  She is a bundle of energy, always chasing toys and exploring her world.  Tabitha enjoys human attention and is always ready for petting and playing.  But one thing they both agree on?  Life is better together!

These two sweethearts have become each other’s safe space, and they would love a home where they can continue their journey side by side.  To help them find a home together, their adoption fees are only $25 each this month.  Could you be the special person to give Aspen and Tabitha the love and security they deserve?  Apply to adopt them today and let their love story continue in your home.

Visit Aspen and Tabitha at HART at 2638 Main Street.  HART is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 12 to 5 p. m.  For more information about Tabitha and Aspen, visit: hartcambria.org/cat-of-the-month.
