Halloween Happenings for Kids

Trunk-or-Treat is back for its 5th Annual appearance on Thursday, October 31, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Pinderado Grounds at 940 Main Street, adjacent to the Veterans Memorial Hall.  All children are invited to this festive celebration.  Wear costumes, bring your treat bags, and be ready for a whole lot of fun!  

    Candy donations are greatly appreciated and may be dropped at Freddie’s Thrift Shop 816 Main after October 1st.  For those who want to participate, there are a few more “trunk” spaces available.  Contact Liz Bannon at 805-235-1818.

     And the 4th Annual Trunk-or-Treat celebration will be held in San Simeon on Thursday, October 31, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the scarecrow grounds next to San Simeon Beach Bar & Grill, 9520 Castillo Drive.  Donations for this event can be dropped off at San Simeon Lodge before the day of the event and could include candy or other fun stuff like juice boxes, snacks, pencils, erasers, toothbrushes, stickers, stamps, and chips.  For those who would like to enter a car for the event, email Judy Sandoval at: guizarjudy@@yahoo.com.

     Kids, dress up as your favorite character, come ready to play games, gather candy and other goodies, and have fun.  This is a family-oriented event for kids (and parents) of all ages.
