May 1–It has been said that “nature is healing,” so the Cambria Center of the Arts is hosting renowned wildflower photographer, avid hiker, and author Doris Lance, Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to discover and explore healing through nature photography. This day of discovery will include the wildflowers of the Central Coast slide show, a nature walk on Fiscalini Ranch Preserve and will conclude with a discussion and recording of individual observations in Lance’s book, Botanical Reflections Capture Your Days in Words and Pictures.
Registration is now being taken at the Cambria Center of the Arts website, cambriarts.org under the Academy Program. Cost to CCA members is $125 and for non-members, it is $145.
