Cambria Rotary Wishes Everyone a Happy Easter, Happy Passover, Happy Spring

By SUE ROBINSON

Spring is in full swing at Cambria Rotary.  Members are kicking off the season by joining forces with the American Legion and Lions Club for the Reggie Perkins Memorial Easter Egg Hunt at Shamel Park, on April 20.  Kids will hunt for prize-filled eggs and enjoy fun activities from noon until 2 p.m.

The support the club has received has helped to make a real difference in this community. Rotary has donated $1,000 each to the Vineyard Church Feed the Needy Program, Cambria Skate Park, and Toys for Tots. The club has also provided $5,000 in aid for Los Angeles Wildfire victims and $2,000 to the local Fire Department.  Plus, members are thrilled to award $15,000 in scholarships to CUSD students this year.

Ready for some fun while giving back?  Join Rotary’s 2025 Spring Online Auction at: cambriarotarygala.com, featuring fantastic deals from many favorite local shops.  And do not miss the chance to win one of eight dream vacations in the Grand Raffle!  Picture a special trip to Hawaii, Iceland, Tuscany, or Costa Rica. Or maybe you’d prefer a Napa Valley adventure, Tennessee whiskey tour, major league baseball game, or luxury spa getaway at Omni LaCosta.

Grab a $50 raffle ticket from any Cambria Rotarian or email at: VivaCambriaRotary@gmail.com.

Winners will be drawn at the VIVA event, on April 26.  Ticket holders do not need to be present to win but everyone is more than welcome to join the fun for this event.  The evening begins with a champagne reception, followed by a mouthwatering full-course meal.  Enjoy exciting raffles, a wine pull, and a live auction, capped off with the drawing of the Grand Raffle winning tickets.  Reserve a place now at: cambriarotarygala.org.
