Cambria Community Scholarship Foundation is Accepting Applications for Re-entry Scholarships

Cambria Community Scholarship Foundation is pleased to offer need-based scholarships for all individuals who are resuming their academic pursuits after having taken time off from post-high school education, or who have not completed post-high school degree or program.    

     Applicants must be residents of Cambria or San Simeon and have completed high school or obtained a high school equivalency.  Those applying for the scholarship must have an acceptance to a college or post high school training program.

     Candidates for the Re-entry Scholarship may apply directly online, and the application includes questions about a student’s financial eligibility.  They must also write a personal statement and provide a recommendation related to academic or employment experiences.  Interviews will be held either in person or via Zoom.

     The Cambria Community Scholarship Foundation, formerly known as University Women of Cambria, has broadened its community outreach and welcomes all individuals interested in supporting its mission.  CCSF’s mission is to provide scholarships to qualified students graduating from Cambria’s public high schools to help offset the costs of attending the college or technical school of their choice.  For those would like to join CCSF in this impactful endeavor, please contact Membership Chair Helen Pitton at: helenpitton@gmail.com.
