Cambria Community Chorale – One Voice!

By LEONARD KOHOUT

The Cambria Community Chorale is thrilled to announce the upcoming Spring Concert, “One Voice.”   With great enthusiasm, the Chorale comes together with one voice.  Music Director Ron Perry has chosen amazing tunes from an extensive music library for the songbook.  From “Simple Gifts” to “For Good” from “Wicked,” there will be a variety of ballads that will surely get everyone’s attention.

The Chorale will join together for a bit of “Java Jive”, that cannot be missed.  A favorite of many Chorale singers as part of the songbook is, “You Are the New Day.”  The men of the Chorale and a few of the women will be performing in Barbershop style “Coney Island Baby”.  As an added treat, the women’s ensemble will sing “How Can I Keep from Singing.”

Concert dates for “One Voice” are Sundays, May 12, and May 19, at 2:00 p.m.  As has been traditional, the Chorale will be performing at the Cambria Community Presbyterian Church, 2250 Yorkshire Drive.  Tickets are $20 for adults and students 17 and younger are free.   Tickets can be purchased at the Cambria Chamber of Commerce or from a participating chorale member.  Tickets are also available online at: my805tix.com/e/one-voice or on the Chorale website at cambriachorale.org.  Please come join the Cambria Community Chorale for this fantastic event.
