BUCK Hopes for Good LUCK in March

By DAWN ELLNER

Meet Buck – HART’s March Cat of the Month.  Buck is an endearing 12-year-old who has lived a tough life on the streets.  He was noticed wandering for a year by a kind person who began caring for him, even taking him to the vet in hopes of finding his family.  Unfortunately, the contact information on his microchip was no longer valid, so Buck came to HART.

Buck had been suffering from glaucoma, and his eye was completely clouded over and painful.  To help him, his medical team made the decision to remove the eye, and now Buck is out of pain, healing with all the love, care, and comfort he deserves at HART.

Despite his past hardships, Buck is an incredibly gentle and loving soul.  He is a shy boy who craves affection and just wants a family to call his own, where he can enjoy his golden years in peace and security.  For anyone looking for a quiet companion who will return love tenfold, Buck may be the perfect match.

Buck is rocking a stylish digital eyepatch in his photos while he heals from his surgery.  Since his eyelids are still shaved, scabbed over, and in the process of healing, HART volunteers added a little pirate flair to help direct attention to what truly matters—just how adorable Buck is!

Buck’s Adoption Fee has been discounted to just $25 to help him find the perfect home in March.  Buck is waiting to meet you at 2638 Main Street.  HART is open Tuesday through Saturday, 12 to 5 pm.  For more about Buck, visit HART’s website at: hartcambria.org/cat-of-the-month
