Visit the light station at the break of dawn to capture unique photos of wildlife, the lighthouse, the ocean, and more. On Saturday, December 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m., this loosely structured workshop will allow beginner photographers to learn about composition, lighting, and landscape photography techniques. Two experienced photographers will be on hand to answer questions about photography, as well as the history and ecology of the light station. Both beginner and more experienced photographers will have the opportunity to walk the half-mile trail around the light station and capture unique photos from many angles. The Gift Shop will be open with coffee, tea, and cider available for a small donation. Space is limited. Register for the vent and $25 fee at piedrasblancas.org/events.
