The Cambria American Legion Auxiliary recently delivered 26 holiday bags to veterans, auxiliary members, and community members in Cambria, San Simeon, and Cayucos who have faced challenges this year. Whether due to disability, the loss of a loved one, or difficulties getting out, these individuals were chosen for this thoughtful gesture. The bags were generously filled with donated items from auxiliary members. A dedicated team carefully packed homemade baked goods, jams donated by Linns Fruit Bin, dental and bath kits, beverage packs, calendars, date books, puzzle books, warm socks, and other comforting essentials. These specially prepared bags were then delivered to the recipients, spreading warmth and care during the holiday season.
