Happy New Year from Cambria Chamber of Commerce

By REBECCA BISKADUROS

Members hope this new year brings everyone good health, love, laughter, and light.  The Chamber is starting off the year with the annual Cambria Art & Wine Festival January 23 through 26.  To kick off the weekend, there will be a special wine seminar on Thursday, January 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Harmony Cellars (3255 Harmony Valley Road).

This four-day festival extravaganza will be full of wine tastings, amazing local foods, and artist demonstrations throughout town at local shops and businesses.  There will be an opportunity for attendees enter the Chamber raffle for some wonderful prizes this year, with bonus raffle entries for participants who shop locally. For a schedule of the daily events go to: cambriachamber.org/cambria-art-wine-festival/.

The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Annual Chamber Appreciation Dinner on February 11, from 6 to 9 p.m., to be held at the beautiful Cavalier Oceanfront Resort.  The Chamber membership has voted, and the Citizen of the Year is John Nixon.  The local Business of the Year is the Cookie Crock.  Congratulations to John and the Cookie Crock for their service to the community.

Please join Chamber members in celebrating these local honorees at this special dinner celebration.  Tickets for the Appreciation Dinner go on sale next week.  For more information and to purchase tickets to the 21st Annual Cambria Art and Wine Festival go to: cambriaartwine.org or cambriachamber.org.  VIP tickets are almost sold, so do not wait.  Get a ticket today.
