Light up the Night at the Third Annual Community Hanukkah Celebration

By GALE FELDMAN

Get ready to bask in the glow of tradition and community spirit at the Third Annual Cambria Community Hanukkah Celebration on Saturday, December 28, at the enchanting Serendipity Boutique, 734 Main Street.  The event, beginning at 4 p.m., will be an evening of light, laughter and community spirit.
This beloved tradition is brought to you by Lorienne Schwenk of The Singing Kitchen and Gale Feldman, with the generous support of Nicki Gould and Dianne Greenstein of Serendipity Boutique, who have graciously opened their beautiful space to host the festivities.

Here is what’s in store: this year’s celebration is set to shine brighter than ever, with Rabbi Micah Hyman and Cantor Mark Getten from Congregation Beth David leading the way.  Adding to the magic is a special performance by The Intergenerational Choir, whose beautiful harmonies will warm anyone’s heart.
Enjoy an evening full of Hanukkah traditions, including a menorah lighting, a moment of light and community as all gather to kindle the flames; and dreidel games–whether a seasoned spinner or a first-timer, come join the fun.

Do not forget the special Hannukah treats: golden latkes, savory matzoh ball soup, and sufganiyot (jelly donuts) that will make taste buds dance.  Feel free to bring a vegetarian dish to add to the festivities.

Gather ‘round for stories that inspire–tales of Hanukkah’s miracles, resilience, and joy.  Raise your voice (or just listen) to festive songs that capture the spirit of the season.

Hannukah is a Celebration for everyone. This is not just another holiday party—it is a chance to celebrate what makes our community special, whether Hanukkah has always been a personal tradition or for the curious hearts who wish to learn about the Festival of Lights for the first time, everyone is welcome.  Bring friends, family, and a big appetite for latkes and fun!  Never been to a Hanukkah celebration before? This is the perfect time to experience the joy, the warmth, and the togetherness that make this holiday so special.
Special thanks are offered to Nicki Gould and Dianne Greenstein for hosting this year’s event at Serendipity Boutique.  Their kindness and generosity help make this celebration possible.  For more details, contact Lorienne Schwenk at: Singingkitchen@gmail.com or Gale Feldman at: gzfeldman@yahoo.com.  Let’s light up the night!
