On December 8, Cambria 4-H youth and families came together at Luigi’s Pizza to celebrate the end of the year with a festive holiday party. The evening was filled with delicious food, creative fun, and a sense of camaraderie that highlighted the spirit of the season.
Participants enjoyed a dinner featuring an assortment of Luigi’s signature pizzas, crispy fries, fried zucchini, and fresh house salads. As everyone enjoyed their meal, the room buzzed with laughter and lively conversations, reflecting the holiday spirit.
The highlight of the evening was a holiday-themed art project that combined creativity with a touch of magic. Using stained and painted wooden boards, the kids created stunning string art designs, threading vibrant crochet threads around nails to form stars, snowflakes, Christmas trees, angels, and stockings. What made the activity truly special was the addition of battery-powered LED lights outlining the shapes, adding a festive glow to the finished pieces. The kids were captivated by the process and took pride in their colorful and illuminated creations, which will undoubtedly brighten their homes throughout the holiday season.
The night concluded on a sweet note with Luigi’s delicious chocolate-filled churros, a perfect treat to end a memorable evening.
Cambria 4-H is grateful to Luigi’s Pizza for hosting the event and to all the families who contributed to making the evening such a success. The gathering was a wonderful way to celebrate another year of learning, growth, and community involvement while looking ahead to the opportunities and adventures that 2025 will bring.
