The Piedras Blancas Light Station cordially invites you to the grounds for an intimate viewing of the 2019 horror film ‘The Lighthouse’, directed and produced by Robert Eggers. The event will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 7 to 10 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy the sunset prior to showtime at 8 p.m.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets, as this will be an outside event on dirt and gravel. Concessions (popcorn, candy, soda, water, hot cocoa, and cider) will be available for purchase. No smoking and no pets are allowed on light station grounds.
The Piedras Blancas Light Station is located at 15950 Cabrillo Highway (Highway 1), San Simeon. The gate will be open 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; please be mindful of oncoming traffic as the entry is located off Highway 1.
Reservations are required to join this free event, with a suggested donation of $5 – 10. All proceeds will fund light station restoration.
