Beautify Cambria Association will once again be holding a Goodwill Donation Drive on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Santa Rosa Church, 1174 Main Street. Bring new life and fresh energy into your home by donating to the Goodwill Drive on behalf of this local non-profit organization. Is your closet or garage full of things you no longer use or need? Would you like to declutter your home and also contribute to a worthy cause?
Beautify Cambria will use the money earned by this Donation Drive towards the annual Bee, Butterfly & Bat Street Faire planned for Saturday, June 27, on Burton Drive in the West Village. The faire helps to raise awareness about the importance of bees, butterflies, bats and other pollinators. Enjoy food, music, bee-related products, interesting speakers, a photo exhibit of pollinators, plus plenty of kid-friendly activities.
As part of its efforts, Beautify Cambria also has plans to clean up the alley and beautify the back side of West Village buildings as seen from Highway One. The picture at the end of this article shows an example of the native tree murals that are planned to adorn the buildings and invite visitors passing by to explore Cambria.
