The Cambria Community Healthcare District (CCHD) is sponsoring a lecture on brain health and aging. The lecture is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, November 17, and is open to all community members.

Wondering what you can do to keep your brain healthy and active as you age?  Researchers have learned a lot about lifestyle approaches that may help us live longer healthier lives. This includes small lifestyle changes that may go a long way in supporting brain health as we get older.

To learn more, plan on attending the talk titled “Brain Health at Any Age: What You Can Do Now” presented by Kathryn Chekas, Program Director for the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Coast.  Kathryn will discuss exciting research on how diet, exercise, cognitive training, and social engagement can help keep the brain healthy at any age.

This talk is scheduled for Thursday, November 17, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the Old Grammar School (1350 Main Street).  For more information or to arrange transportation services, please call the CCHD office (805-927-8304).
