Camp Ocean Pines is pleased to invite the community to the Harvest Festival, Sunday, October 23, for the annual free community open house with pumpkin decorating, carnival games, axe throwing, live animal presentations, and so much more.
Also planned is the Legacy Dinner on Saturday, December 3, a fundraiser to celebrate another year of impact in the community and to honor the people who have made the programs at Camp Ocean Pines possible. Tickets will be available soon.
Camp Ocean Pines celebrates the transformational experience of nature. This is an essential part of the organization: that nature is important for everyone. People of all ages are served at Camp Ocean Pines. Summer Camp is for the kids, of course, but a Family Camp has been added to serve people across generations. Outdoor Education is geared towards school groups, primarily 5th and 6th grade students, and the parents and teachers who accompany the students also benefit from the time to learn and play and grow.
Camp Ocean Pines also has programs exclusively for adults. Some of the experiences available are: being immersed in the nature-based mindfulness of Forest Bathing or by taking a class in mosaics, quilting, or songwriting. More Camp Ocean Pines workshops are always being added. Check out all of the options at: campoceanpines.org.
