The Cambria Lions Club presents “Roaring Back – Pinedorado Days 2022.” The traditional Labor Day weekend event, dubbed “Roaring Back” this year following a two-year hiatus during the pandemic, is set for Saturday through Monday, September 3-5.  Kicking-off the three-day celebration is the Saturday morning Pinedorado Parade, winding down Main Street from its East Village start, and featuring floats, dancers, bands, clown cars, and the Lions Club Calliope.

Following the parade, the Pinedorado grounds (1000 Main Street) are open with food, drink, games, music, and lots of fun for everyone.  Visitors can enjoy the traditional beef and chicken barbeque, hamburgers, Linn’s pies, and more.  The Pub will offer local wines and beers, and kids young and old will enjoy carnival games, while the very young can ride the train and cars.

On Sunday, September 4, Pinedorado Days also will be “Roaring Back” with the 14th Annual Cambria Pinedorado Car Show at the Veterans Memorial Hall parking lot. This car show competition is open to all car lovers, and those interested in having a car in the competition can find a registration form on the Cambria Lions website at:  cambrialions.org.

Each day will feature music and dancing.  In addition, every hour of the three-day celebration, lucky holders of “Pinedorado Days – Roaring Back” raffle tickets will have a chance to win valuable prizes, including the grand prize of $1,000 awarded on Monday, September 5.  Raffle tickets ($1 each) are on sale and available from all members of the Lions Club.

Also returning after a two-year hiatus is the Pinedorado Follies. This year the production is CambriOZ, a journey from Slabtown to the Emerald City featuring the story, songs, and characters we love set in our own hometown.  “Roaring Back – Pinedorado Days 2022” will be fun for everyone, and the Lions Club of Cambria is happy and proud to bring this traditional Labor Day weekend celebration “roaring back” to residents and visitors alike.
