The Cambria Center for the Arts (CCA) is pleased to call for artists for the Gallery’s next show from September 3 through October 30 in conjunction with the exhibition “John Seed: Paintings from Then and Now.”

During the period of Friday, August 26, through Monday, August 29, artists can register and submit art online to the CCA, as the Gallery will feature original artwork by its member artists in addition to John Seed’s work.  Online registration is required.  The date to drop off artwork at the Gallery is Tuesday, August 30, from 10:00 a.m. until noon.   For membership and exhibit details, visit the CCA website at:  cambriaarts.org.  The opening reception for the Members Only Show will be Saturday, September 3, at 4:30 until 6:30 p.m.

The CCA Gallery is in need of volunteers who might assist on a regular basis.  A Gallery Committee meets once a month to discuss all areas of the operation.  The Gallery Committee is a fun group of creative people with great ideas for upcoming shows, improvements, marketing, and fundraising, but more people are needed to make it spectacular. There are many areas where fresh ideas and can-do attitudes are welcomed, even if a volunteer is not an artist.  For volunteers who are artists, there is also the benefit of “take-in” discounts for submitted artwork.  Anyone with a possible interest in volunteering is encouraged to email the Gallery for more information (gallery@CambriaArts.org).
