The Cambria Center for the Arts (CCA) Gallery is pleased to announce its 2022 juried show of two and three-dimensional fine arts and crafts opening Saturday, July 2. The exhibit will be available to view on site or online at 11:00 a.m.  The opening reception will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Gallery (1350 Main Street) during which the winners will be presented.

     Franceska Alexander, painter, gallery owner since 1986, and author of Gallery Ready, A Creative Blueprint for Visual Artists is the juror for this event.  She studied art at the College of San Mateo, Monterey Peninsula College, and Sierra College before continuing with private painters not only in California but also in Nevada and Massachusetts, as well as in Ireland and Italy.  She completed a formal MFA in Creative Inquiry through painting and writing at the California Institute of Integral Studies and also earned a degree in Expressive Arts Therapy.   Alexander has exhibited work in many shows both nationally and abroad, as well as in the galleries she has owned and managed.  In addition to painting and operating galleries, she has been an art coach to many, from aspiring young artists to accomplished professionals.
