The artistry of local photographer Nigel Paul is slated to be on exhibit with his stunning wildlife images at the Cambria Library from Friday, July 1, through the end of the month.

Born in London, Paul first came to the United States a week after graduating with a degree in psychology from Bristol University. Deciding by that summer’s end to call San Francisco his new home, he initially worked as a house painter by day and a dogsbody for bands on the local club scene at night. Observing and questioning the many audio professionals he met during that period inspired him to pursue a career as a concert sound engineer.

Paul has mixed thousands of shows on tours with many high-profile recording artist clients in more than 70 countries.  Away from the music world and based in Cambria, he works as a photographer, most notably in the field of automotive photography, producing imagery for private clients and event producers.

To view the new exhibition, the Cambria Library is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The library is located at 1043 Main Street.
