The Cambia Library will be hosting a special program “A Visit with a Park Ranger” on Friday, July 8, at 2:00 p.m.  Ranger Sarah Colvin from the Mesa District of the County Parks and Recreation Department will be talking about local outdoor spaces including day and overnight parks, camping safety and best practices to make your outdoor adventures fun and safe for the whole family.

     Registration is not required.  The event will include interactive displays, as well as a chance to win passes to local sites.  Both Shamel Park and Lampton Cliffs Park in Cambria are maintained by the County Parks and Recreation Department.  The Cambria Library is located at 1043 Main Street and open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and both Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
