The holiday season, along with great weather and excellent facilities, is drawing many visitors to the tennis courts at Coast Union High School.  On Tuesday morning all six courts were in use, three by local players from the Cambria Tennis Club (CTC) and the others by visiting families here to enjoy Cambria, representing players from age 3 to 80.  Pictured here (after finishing four sets of doubles) are a foursome of Club members – CUHS Tennis Coach Rich Mendoza, the author, Steve Gryte, and Bruce Stirling (from left to right).

The availability of quality court facilities for students, Club members, locals, and visitors alike is due in large measure to the efforts of the CTC, which maintains the courts as part of its charter.  Anyone who is a tennis player (regardless of level) and would like to get back into the game should consider joining us at 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays for drop-in doubles.  Alternatively, get in touch with us, and we will try to match you to a member of the Club for a game.  For further information, including a membership application, check out the Club website at cambriatennisclub.com or call us at 805-927-1576.
