First Baptist Church (FBC) is extending an invitation to the community to join us as we celebrate Advent beginning this Sunday morning.  Each week we will explore a different Christmas theme:  November 28 “Hope,” December 5 “Peace,” December 12 “Joy,” and December 19 “Love.”

Advent is a season of anticipation as we look back at the fulfillment of prophecy in the coming of the Savior, Jesus Christ.  Advent also allows us to look ahead to His return as King of King and Lord of Lords.  FBC will be celebrating the Advent season with the theme of “Christmas Stories.”  Join us each Sunday for story time, lighting of an Advent candle, music and song, and a look at a different Biblical Christmas story each week.

Visitors are always welcome at FBC, which is located at the corner of Highway 1 and Ardath Drive.  The Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. is continuing to meet indoors (masked, as the County requires).  For anyone who is not comfortable inside (or just does not like to sing through a mask), there is also a patio area set up with canopies, as well as live audio and video feeds from the sanctuary. FBC continues stream the weekly services on Facebook Live and on our main website at:  For additional information, please contact the church office or visit the website.
