The annual Chamber of Commerce Car Show is being held this Saturday, October 16, at the Veterans’ Memorial Hall (1000 Main Street) parking lot.

The show starts at 9:00 a.m. and will run until 1:00 p.m.  There are 40 cars registered this year, the largest number of entrants in over 20 years.  There will be many trophies and plaques awarded, as well as a raffle with prizes.  Everyone is invited to enjoy the show as a guest of the Chamber and also to vote for a favorite car.

The American Legion is cooking a pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, and coffee.  The cost of only $8 per person will be the best value in town.  The breakfast is open from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m.  Unfortunately, however, the traditional chili cookoff has been cancelled due to concerns over the pandemic. It will be back next year.
